Transit of Rahu & Ketu into Aries & Libra

Rahu moves into Aries and Ketu in Libra on April 12, 2022.

Rahu in Aries

Rahu is very inimical to the sattva planets and Mars. Rahu’s transit over Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mars proves very problematic for the natives and different remedies have to be done.

Another point to note is that Nodes transit on the sign of Atmakaraka wrecks havoc, it is one of the worst transits. So people who have Atmakaraka in Aries or in Libra have to be very careful and must do their Atmakaraka mantras in order to protect them.

Aries Ascendant

Rahu transit to the Ascendant is always a problem for the health of the native. Similar to Saturn’s transit Rahu also damages the Ascendant, but Rahu’s damage is not detected early. Rahu is natural Bhadhak and hides everything, so the disease or problem remains undetected till the very last moment or until it’s too late. People with Aries Ascendant for the next 18 months have to be very vigilant about their health and must go for regular health checkups. Rahu being their Bhadhak also makes this problem more severe.

Remedies

I am prescribing two mantras for the people of Aries Ascendant, which will help them to go through this transit easily and give them protection.

Remedies for Sun

If Sun is placed in Aries, Leo or Saggiatrius then this transit of Rahu is going to damage your Sun. This can lead to the depletion of resources, low energy levels and serious bone health issues. As Rahu eclipses the Sun, only Guru can save him. The following mantra will help to remove the Rahu’s effect from the Sun.

ॐ नमो भगवते दक्षीणामुर्तीये। om namo bhagavate dakṣīṇāmurtīye |

Do this Mantra on a Rosary made of Turmeric to increase the power.

Remedies for the Moon

The moon always fights Rahu. Moon destroys Tamas when he is full of light. A Tamas Chandra (moon devoid of light, i.e. too close to the Sun) lacks the power to do so. If Moon is placed in Aries, Leo or Saggitarius then Rahu may cause overthinking and confusion. This may lead to anxieties or problems related to blood and heart. Lord Shiva in the form of Hara removes all the poison and protects us. The above mentioned Durga mantra is a must if you have Moon in these signs. We also worship Lord Shiva with the following mantra to remove all the tamas from our life.

ॐ हराय नमः |om harāya namaḥ

Do this mantra 108 times after the Durga mantra.

Remedies for the Jupiter

Rahu is the Kaal of Brihaspati. Rahu damages the Akash Tattva and is highly inimical to Jupiter. When Jupiter and Rahu conjoin an unauspicious Yoga called Guru Chandala Yoga is formed. This Yoga has the power to destroy the whole chart, and deplete the Sun very badly. If Jupiter in the Natal Chart is placed in the Fire Signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius then, this is going to be a problem in the coming 18 months. The following two Mantras will help a lot.

Rahu on Mars: Kuja Sthamana

Rahu and Mars are extreme enemies. Rahu is Asura and very inimical to Deva planets. I have covered this yoga in detail in one of my previous articles.

ॐ क्रां क्रीं क्रौं सः भौमाय नमः। om krāṁ krīṁ krauṁ saḥ bhaumāya namaḥ |

The simple graha mantra of Mars along with Hanuman Chalisa is one of the best remedies for this transit of Rahu over Mars.

Ketu in Libra

Ketu is Maha Rudra. He reduces everything to Zero, Maha Sunya. Ketu’s transit is like you taking a planet and dividing it by Zero net result is Zero. Ketu is very good for spiritual and sanyasi people and extremely malefic for wealth, home life, etc. Ketu’s transit on any planet, Arudha, etc, damages everything. One of the best remedies for Ketu, to is become a little spiritual, do some donations and do Ganesh Mantras regularly.

Ganesh Mantras are different for everyone, based on their Ascendant, Ketu, Position, Bhadhak etc. But the below Mantra of Lakshmi Ganesh can help to maintain business and wealth for most of us.

Transit of Nodes

Nodal transits are extremely dangerous and more problematic than Saturn transit. But no one talks about it. They affect almost all the factors in the chart. Nodes transiting one’s Atma Karaka is a very painful experience and damages life. The same goes for Arudhas and other Vishesha Lagnas. They can damage wealth, career, marriage, reputation etc. For example, Ketu transiting on an Aprakash graha Upaketu can cause madness in the native.
