Fame in Horoscope is seen from three factors. The first is Lagna, which is the house of Name and Fame and the second is Arudha Lagna and the third is the blessing of Agni.
Lagna is the house for our body, looks, buddhi, health, name and fame. The planets in Lagna will determine how we behave and what we can become famous for. A strong Lagna with benefics in lagna can give an undying name and fame. The Lagna lord is also an important part of this. If Lagna is having benefics but Lagna Lord is weak the Lagna will become weak. So a strong Lagna Lord along with a strong Lagna is the first key to becoming famous.
The second most important factor is the Arudha Lagna ( AL ). AL is the manifestation of Lagna, as our image is society. Lagna is the Satya Peetha but AL is the maya. AL is one of the most important aspects of Vedic Astrology. Without AL, it is worthless to analyse the chart, as all humans function in society due to a strong mind, aka the Moon. The moon is karaka for AL.
AL will show how our image is manifested in the world. We are good, bad, rich or poor. How society perceives us and how they respond to us is seen from the AL. A strong AL with benefics like Jupiter or exalted planets can make one person’s image very good and strong.
The third factor is Agni. We are all born in Mrityu Loka means everything born here dies. This Bhu Loka is governed by Mars who is ruler of Agni. Two factors of Agni are present in the chart one is Surya and the other is Varesha. Varesha is the lord of the day you are born. The Varesh hold the blessings of Agni to succeed in this Loka. A strong and well-placed Varesha brings the blessing of support of Agni in this Loka.
The fourth factor will depend on supporting yogas from other planets and Chara karakas. This will show how much fame we can have. Some are only famous in one’s city some are at the national level while some are at the international level. If the fame yoga of Lagna Arudha Lagna and Atma Karaka are all present the Fame at a very high level can be seen.

In the chart of Prabhu Shri Ram, we see Lagna has Exalted Jupiter and Lagna Lord Moon in his own sign. Jupiter is also the 9th lord of Dharma and the 6th Lord of enemies and fighting. Salman Khan is a famous Bollywood actor. He is famous for his body and action movies. We see that the lagna lord is exalted with Venus. AL is in Cancer but Capricorn is much stronger so it will function as AL. Mars and Venus show action movies with the influence of Saturn shows body. Mercury and Rahu are also having Rashi dristi.
