The Sun God: Dwadasha Adityas & The Source Of All Wealth

All the life on Earth is sustained by the Sun. Without Sun the Earth will turn into a barren frozen land, with no vegetation and life. Planets need sunlight to perform photosynthesis that converts carbon dioxide to oxygen. Season are caused due to Sun and wind also blows because of it (Difference in temperature causes wind to blow from low temperature areas to high). Therefore all the vital phenomena happening on Earth to  sustain life is caused due to the Sun only.

Sun in Vedic Medical Astrology denotes bones, the base structure. Now modern science as discovered that human body needs sunlight in order to make Vitamin D,  which is very crucial for healthy bones. No amount of Calcium can used without Vitamin D and we know now that skin makes Vitamin D under sunlight. Interesting, the ancient sages knew then, that without sunlight, no one can have strong bones, which is first basic requirement for good health.

Sun is so important that things start rotting in darkness. There are people all around the globe that dried food in sunlight to preserve them.

Egyptians worshiped the Sun God in the name of  “Raa” and Hinduism in the name of “Raam” .

Creation:

The Sun creates everything through the 12 Zodiac Signs. All the 12 signs are created by Sun only, as they represent different energies of the Sun. The Signs are not real, they were made to simplify how the energy of the Sun is manifesting through the “Cycle of Time” (Kaala Chakra). The Sun takes 12 forms to create everything from the 12 zodiac signs. All Horoscopes have 12 Houses only, everything in life manifests from these 12 house and signs only.

The 12 Zodiac Signs

Dwadasha Aditya:

Dwadasha is a Sanskrit term meaning 12. Aditya means giving light.

Therefore it denotes the 12 forms of Sun or 12 forms of light that Sun gives when placed in 12 zodiac sings. Every soul born on planet will have a Sun sign (Based on Vedic Chart not western, as they vary some times), that sun sign will tell the form of Sun that is blessing the native with health, prosperity and wealth. Each Sun Sign will denote a specific Aditya that will be giver of life to native.

The 12 Adityas based on Sun’s placement in a Zodiac Sign are:

  1. Aries (Mesa): Dhata
  2. Taurus (Vrishibha): Aryama
  3. Gemini (Mithuna): Mitra
  4. Cancer (Karkata): Varuna
  5. Leo (Simha): Indra
  6. Virgo (Kanya): Vivasvan
  7. Libra (Tula): Pusha
  8. Scorpio (Vrishika): Parjanya
  9. Sagittarius (Dhanu): Anshuman
  10. Capricorn (Makara): Bhaga
  11. Aquarius (Kumbha): Tvasta
  12. Pisces (Mina): Vishnu

What is the application of this knowledge? Well we all have Sun Signs and Sun will take one of the above mentioned form of Aditya to bless the native with its grace. Suppose a person born with Sun in Capricorn, then the Aditya will be Bhaga Aditya. If the native is suffering from bad health or financial problems then if starts to worship Bhaga Aditya, then his problems will be cured or diminished (depending on the Chart) after some time.

People will low immunity or frequent health problems should worship their respective Adityas every morning, in order to improve their health. Remember a good health and disease free body is the first and most important wealth of life. subsequently other forms of wealth will flow to you.
