Rahu As A Root Of All Desires (भोग कारका)

Rahu, is the manifestation of all desires. It represents our desires which are never ending in nature. Rahu is the north node of Moon. It is not a real planet but a shadow planet (छाया ग्रह ), which does not exist in reality but affects our minds to cause such desires, that give rise to new karma and bhoga (भोग). Bhoga is consumption of material pleasures for satisfaction of mind.  Soul is not here to do bhoga, it is only here to experience karma and pay karmic debt.

Rahu is the bhoga karaka:- significator of consumption and indicates over consumption. Every person born will have the desire to consume more and more. The rich want to become more rich, politicians want to stay in power forever etc. This consumption is based on mind (मनस ) and so we get addicted to it.  This desire for more, cause mind to corrupt, so it is Rahu which causes, corruption. No other planet cause corruption, it is only Rahu.
This corruption of Rahu, is the karmic debt we create for which we have to born again to suffer and reap it. There is not end to desires and Rahu ensures that. The only way to end desire to give everything away, which is called sanyasa or complete renunciation.

Rahu As A General Of Demons (असुरा सेनापति)

Rahu is a very able fighter and is very intelligent. No planet can fight like Rahu. He can use all the yudha nitis’ (Tactics of War) and is also master of deception. Mars who is commander-in-chief of Gods can never defeat Rahu in one to one battle. Rahu is a master planer. Mars will always need Lord Vishnu (भगवान विष्णु )  to defeat Rahu.

Rahu represents terrorists, spies and deadly arms like bombs.

Rahu As Root Cause Of All Obstruction

Rahu is significator of all the unnecessary hurdles and  obstruction that you face in life. This is called in vedic astrology bhadhak (obstruction). Every chart will have one zodiac Sign as obstruction and its lord will become lord of obstruction (Bhadhakesh) in the native’s life. This Bhadhakesh will be the root cause of all the unnecessary troubles the native faces.
Rahu is something what you cannot understand or see, as he is the master of illusion so he traps you in all ways.

Rahu As Highest Saint

Shri Rahu when awakes the inner nature, take the form of Shri Varaha.  He is that form of Lord Vishnu which will go into the depths of Hell of bring lost souls to light and free them from suffering. When Rahu becomes spiritual there is not other saint like him. He can achieve the highest spiritual path and can merge into Godhood completely. This is because Rahu is the one who prevents us from becoming spiritual, by giving us all the material joys and desires, but when he decides to give spirituality, then there is no stopping.

Remedies of Rahu

Rahu Graha Mantra:

A simple planetary mantra for bowing down and doing salutation to Rahu for pacification and upliftment.

Protection From Rahu

When Rahu dasa is running or Rahu is giving very bad results then worship of Divine Mother Durga is done. Durga means Durgati-nashinye i.e. destroyer of Bad Results or Bad Ending.

The Durga Navakshri Mantra with Pranava beej Om (ॐ) can be done everyday for protection of Mother. This is a very good Mantra and can be done by everyone.

Ugra Rahu, Curses Of Rahu & Eclipses

When Rahu becomes Ugra (Aggressive) then normal methods to appease and pacify do not work. Then more ferocious and aggressive mantras have to done. This mantras best done  under proper guidance.
When Rahu casts a curse on planets, then remedies will be different based on horoscope of native. Curses are hard to cure and require tremendous penance and patience.
Eclipses are caused by afflictions to luminaries in chart, generally they cast such situations on native that his mind is badly hit and signification of luminaries are also troubled.
